I don’t know about you, but I have been really angry lately the past few years. Like way more than usual. Living in a world not set up for neurodivergent people, women or anyone who isn’t a cis white dude has me feeling like fighting. Add in Project 2025, the hottest July ever and living with a teenager and š„
I understand my anger is justified and righteous, but I need support. One of the many, many things I have been angry about is the lack of mental health services available despite having health insurance.
But here’s some damn good news! Did you know that because of Senate Bill 221 Californians can get timely therapy (and substance abuse) sessions? This bill became law in 2022 and I had no idea. Now I am telling everyone!
Get Thyself to therapy ASAP Californians!

Also: I am encouraged by white women (and men) finally stepping up in support of a female candidate for President. AND we all have a lot of work to do around our racial identity and dismantling white supremacy and the patriarchy.
One election does not undo all the harm of the past. If it did, Obama’s election would have solved all our problems.
