EP 216: Telling Your Story Without You Being There with Calvina Nguyen
I am still catching up on sleep due to Daylight Saving Time and still trying to figure out how it started and why we still have it. More accurately, I wish we would just pick one and never change our clocks again.
I’ve got moms on the brain. Yesterday was the 9th anniversary of my mom’s death, and I am so bummed she isn’t here to see how well I am doing, how much my daughter is growing, and how the world is changing for the better. She would 100% be my biggest cheerleader in my work.
I even talked a lot about moms in this week’s podcast. I interviewed Calvina Nguyen of Your Brand Spark. Calvina was born in China and moved to the US when she was 9, which brought a whole new conversation around self-care and one immigrant family’s experience.
In her professional life, Calvina runs Your Brand Spark, a creative agency that educates small businesses in design and branding while helping them build a solid visual brand foundation that empowers them to connect with the right audience and grow a thriving business.
I hope you’ll listen to my interview with Calvina.
