So many people struggle in January. I did for years. Then I stopped fighting it. We are meant to be resting, hibernating, rejuvenating in January.
The animals know it.
The trees know it.
The flowers know it.
If you are exhausted from trying to do all the things because of the new year, I hereby give you permission to stop trying so hard. That can come later, in the spring, when we are supposed to be up and at ’em, bursting with renewed energy because we rested all winter.
In order to get that renewed energy, we must first rest.
How is your January going? Did you do everything you set out to do? Or would you like a do-over? Did you know February is the new January?
Each week in 2018 I’ll be sending you articles that have sparked my interest because they are all about Self-Care and Life Satisfaction.
