The Women’s March. I love connecting to other like-minded people and standing up for what we believe in. I’m also humbled every time I participate in the democratic process. We are lucky we can show disapproval and civil disobedience in the United States. (You can find more more activism resources here).
How was your week? Did you participate in the Women’s March? How are you feeling and how are you treating yourself?
Each week in 2018 I’ll be sending you articles that have sparked my interest because they are all about Self-Care and Life Satisfaction.
Oprah’s Blind Spot – I am a yes and on this topic because weight and diet culture runs deep. It’s my heartfelt wish that Oprah finds peace with her body and uses her platform to encourage and empower other women to as well regardless of the size and shape of their bodies.
A Letter To Google: Please Don’t Kill The Blogs – I’m including this here because so many of the things we sign up for end up filed away in our email folders never to be seen again. Pass it on.
The 100 Hour Rule – this is how long it takes to get better than a beginner. Much more attainable than the 10,000 focused practice model. Now that the pressure is off, what would you like to be better than a beginner at?
This Is What Self-Care Really Means Because It’s Not All Salt Baths and Chocolate Cake – <applause> YES!!! <applause>
I’d love to know what you are reading, watching and listening to these days. Tell me all about it!
I look forward to seeing you soon!
PS: If you want to be the first to know about upcoming retreats, workshops and opportunities to work together – get on the list.
